Nyoro~n

What started out as just a random mindless sketch by Utsura Uraraka became an instant Imageboard phenomenon.

Churuya-san is a chibified version of Tsuruya aka LOLFANG-tan by her fans from the anime and novel The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It's unclear why Churuya has a penchant for smoked cheese, but according to the artist himself, he made smoked cheese as Churuya's main interest because he realized how delicious they were. A full-color 22-page (including cover) illustration book was published on August 11, 2006. The artist's site can be found here. At the time of this entry, the site seems to be temporarily down.

The whole basic structure of a Churuya-san Yonkoma and its parodies goes like this:
Original Churuya-san comic strip.

1. Churuya calls a character or a nearby person and gets their attention.
2. She will then ask a question, often strange or downright absurd questions.
3. The character or person she's talking to will then reply by saying something that usually overshadows her idea or gets her idea shot down.
4. She will then whimper by going "Nyoro~n". Parodies may change it slightly.

LOL DBZ.

And suddenly, CHURUYA, Dozens of em'!
